Hand-drawn Texas Electric Railway Waco Division map. Map 38 shows Texas Electric Railway in Waco. Notable features are North Second Street, North Third Street, South Fourth Street, South Fifth Street, Market Street Railway, Washington Street. Austin Street [Avenue], and the Waco Texas Electric Railway Passenger Station and Express Station. Note: Texas Electric Railway line to Waco abandoned on December 31, 1948. Bus service was still in operation at the time this map was created in 1957. Created by Johnnie J. Myers and Walter Donaldson, while riding in the rear of a Texas Electric Railway car on the Denison and Waco lines. The number of the map is indicated by a circled number in the bottom right corner. This detailed map was later redrawn by Steve Scalzo from the Central Electric Railfans Association (CERA) for Johnnie J. Myers' book, Texas Electric Railway.
