This section includes notes about Cement Car 1052 within the 1050 series. The notes are handwritten on the back of recycled paper. [Transcription of the handwritten notes:] We had a cement car #1052 smaller than the 2000 type. It was used to haul, and store Company material, mostly cement. I think that it was junked about the time that 603, 604 were being built. C.T.Dickenson 4/8/53 Cement car 1052 was dismantled at Monroe in 1937. W. Silvus 4/18/53 Cement car #1052 Built about 1923. About same length of 2000 but not as high. Double truck, painted red. C.T. Dickenson 2/26/54 1052 cement car built at Monroe about 1920 W. Silvus 3/27/55 |
