This section includes notes about Freight Motors 951 through 953 within the 900 series. The notes are typed on the back of recycled paper. [Transcription of the typed notes:] Freight Motors #951, #952 and #953 These three cars, #951, #952 and #953, were used as 600 volt freight motors until the final days of Texas Electric Railway Company in 1948, at which time #951 and #953 were dismantled, while #952 was sold to the Texas Transportation Company, a freight switching line in San Antonio, Texas, where it continues to operate as a 600 volt freight locomotive numbered #2. |
