(Storage Tank) Stoffregen & Haggard (Coal and Junk Yard) Italy Community Gin Company (Seed House) Hillsboro City of Hillsboro (Water Works) Hillsboro Cotton Mill Wm. Cameron & Co. (Beer) Suggested plans to take care of industries not now served by other railroads: The Highway Department at Arbuckle Switch could move their facilities to a point on the Texas and New Orleans Railroad. The North Texas Lumber Company at Richardson could be served by the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company. The Stroube Lumber Company at Vickery could be served by the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company Geo. A. Hormel & Co. at Dallas is a meat packing plant. Applicant is communicating with other rail lines regarding arrangements to serve this industry. Oak Cliff Coal Company and the State Highway Department are small industries that could be moved to locations on other railroads. The Sinclair Refining Company (Storage Tank) at Waxahachie is occupying leased space on Applicant's property, and The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Company could serve this industry by a short extension of underground pipe. All shipments to this industry have been moving by truck for several years. The Stoffregen & Haggard Coal and Junk Yard at Waxahachie could be moved to a location on another railroad. The Community Gin Company (Seed House) at Italy has been shipping all of its Cottonseed by trucks for several years. The City of Hillsboro (Water Works); Hillsboro Cotton Mill and Wm. Cameron Company industries could be served by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company of Texas. The House Chevrolet Company has warehouse space leased in a building owned by Applicant. This industry could be served by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company of Texas. The Swift & Company (Feed Mill) at West is located in a building formerly occupied by a cottonseed oil mill. The Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company of Texas served the oil mill and could readily serve the feed mill from that track. About one year ago the Lone Star Gas Company located a butane gas storage tank on Applicant's line at Milam (West). This storage tank could be moved to the tracks of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company of Texas, or be served by tank trucks. The Lone Star Gas Company butane gas storage tank at Waco could be served by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company of Texas, or by tank trucks. Eberling Sales Company is occupying leased space in a warehouse owned by Applicant. There is a Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company track in front of the building which would be used to serve this industry. In addition to steam rail service at all agency stations served by Applicant, there are a number of motor carriers, as outline in another part of this application, and additionally there are contract carriers, special commodity carriers and private truck operations, which can adequately serve all of the territory served by Applicant. 12.
