This section includes notes about cars 618 through 620 within the 600 series. The notes are handwritten on the back of recycled paper. [Transcription of the handwritten notes:] Express Trail Cars #618 - #619 - #620 Interviews Dallas Southern Traction Co. Original Six Passenger Motors were numbered 100-105 inclusive These were single end cars. Three of these cars were converted in 1917 to Parlor Cars A, B, & C, and continued as such until 1922. These three cars were converted directly to 618, 619, and 620 and did not pass through numbers 455, 456, and 457. W. E. Sturges 5/28/51 Cars A, B & C, were converted to 600 series probably in 1937 - were stored previously. W. E. Sturges 6/12/ 51 |
