Original Postcard of "Lake Erie" Scenes on Interurban between Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas. Lake Erie was a recreation facility established by Northern Texas Traction Company at the artificial lake which supplied water for the Handley Power House. Note: This postcard is almost identical to one catalogued as CP.2009.GC.12-2. The only difference is the layout of the caption in the top left corner on the image side and the position of the postcard number on the reverse side. There is no message on the back of this divided-back postcard. On the back is printed the following: Left Side Top: this Space for Writing Messages Left Side Left Edge: Published by S. H. Kress & Co.
