This section includes notes about cars 607 through 612 within the 600 series. The notes are handwritten on the back of recycled paper. [Transcription of the handwritten notes:] Express Trail Cars #607 - #612 inclusive Start: See 613-614-615 [CP.2006.CL.1-122 ZQ] The following cars were built at Monroe between 1913 and 1941. 607 Built 1918611 Built 1924 608 " 1918612 " 1924 609 " 1920 610 " 1920 W. Silvus 3/ - /53 End: See 613-614-615 [CP.2006.CL.1-122 ZQ] Only 606 and 609 were converted into ½ Ref. trailers C.T.Dickerson 4/8/53 As You mentioned in one of your letters 603, 604 may have been made about 1917 and later changed to about 607 - 609 or some of the larger numbers. C.T.Dickerson 4/26/53 Think Mathis is wrong about 509 coming from trailer, but I can't prove he is wrong. ~ 509 was built from floor up at Monroe and was not as long as 602 - 605 - 507 or 508. 607 and 610 were longer than 509 also.
