Scope & Content

Texas Electric Railway Time Card (train schedule) issued May 23, 1948. Schedules were printed by division and comprised the total interurban route (see map section). The "title" section advertises freight shipments.

Although effective in May 1948, each Division's schedules were actually effective earlier.
* Time Card No. 53 [Dallas-Denison Division] schedules were effective September 16, 1945.
* Time Card No. 115 [Dallas-Waco Division] schedules were effective September 23, 1945,

The time card is printed on a 6 1/4" x 12" piece of paper, front and back, and folded in half and then in half again for easy storage.
