This section includes notes about car 621 within the 600 series. The notes are handwritten on the back of recycled paper. [Transcription of the handwritten notes:] #621 Original Express motor #500 was converted into express trailer #621 while the electric equipment was used on freight motor #906. As #906 was built in 1938 - then #500 must have been stripped of its electrical equipment at that time. Yet Mr. Dickerson lists #621 as being created after the abandonment of service on the Corsicana Division, which would make it after 1941. Could it be that this car was stored between those dates? There was never any trailer higher than #621 - C.T.D. |
