1966, July 8 |
Scope & Content |
Letter from N. C. Dorchester, address 618 W. Texas, Denison, written on July 8th 1966, to Johnnie J. Myers. "Dear Mr Myers,--- Sorry but I do not have the tickets + I believe of DxS. Int Sherman to Woodlake as I gave them to the Grayson County Historical Society. Mr. J. C. [?] Pres, at Sherman, TX. He most likely would loan same to you. You remember the 8 x 10 framed picture of Woodlake as it was in 1902. Mr. John Crawford of the Denison Herald has a negative of this picture and I had him to print an 8 x 10 picture for me - it is real good. I phoned him and he said he could write you a 5 x 7 size for $1.00 if you could use it for your book. I have located and borrowed a picture of the dinky car Mr. Kidd run as motorman way before the D+S Ry was built. This picture belongs to Mrs C. B. Thompson, Mr Kidd's daughter and must be returned to me or I will be in dutch with her. Don't know if you can use it or not. Mr. D." |
