Texas Electric Railway Company, Accounting Department Letter from D. W. Milam, auditor, to all agents. Text of letter is as follows: To all agents: It has come to my attention in making our audits during the last two months of station weekly reports of ticket sales we have noted several instances where tickets were sold without the 2% increase that went into effect May 1. I ask your co-operation in seeing that this increase is applied to all future ticket sales. Please communicate these instructions to all persons in your office. This letter was found in the desk of the Interurban auditor, which was pulled out of storage in 2008. This desk was supposedly found in the Interurban Building in downtown Dallas. |
