This section includes notes about cars 616 and 617 within the 600 series. The notes are handwritten on the back of recycled paper. [Transcription of the handwritten notes:] Express Trail Cars #616 and #617 Interviews Two S. end trailers were converted to 616 & 617 W. E. Sturges 6/12/51 #616 was abandoned and destroyed (torn-up) approximately ten years before abandonment (while Mr Silvus was there) Due to its odd length (compared with other 600 series cars) and extra overhang it was hard to handle #617 although similar to the above car was used until the last All 600 series cars except #616 and #615 were in use at time of abandonment.
