Illustrated postcard of the Interurban Line. The landscape depicts power lines and a railroad track that stretches off into the distance. A road runs to the left of the track. The first highways often paralleled the Interuban or railroad track; as this image of the road between Dallas and Fort Worth illustrates. The caption on the front of the postcard says: Scene on Interurban Line, Northern Texas Traction Co., Between Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas. On the back is printed the following: Left Side Top: this Space for Writing Messages Left Side Left Edge: Published by S. H. Kress & Co. Made in U. S. A.
