This section includes notes about Railway Postal Operation (RPO) cars within the 350-399 series. The notes are handwritten on the back of recycled paper. [Transcription of the handwritten notes:] R.P.O. Cars #1 - (1st) #350 - (2nd) #355 - (2nd) #350 #2 - #351 (R.P.O.) - #351 (Pass. Coach) #7 - #356 _____________________________________________________ Photographs Available #1 - as bought - far side and ends #350 - one man R.P.O.-arch head near side and front #350 - one-man R.P.O.-sq head near side and front - far side and near #351 - two man R P O - arch head far side and near (as run later) #351 - one man R P O - arch head near side and front #351 - one man pass coach-sq headnear side and front - far side and near _____________________________________________________ No photographs of #356 available _____________________________________________________ Note variations in end over hang from truck canters. 11'- 0" 11'- 7 1/2" RPOs installed in end of greater overhang. Hog rods remained on these cars during entire period of operation. At the time these cars went one-man. Smooth bumper eliminated and anti climbers installed. Monitor removed and arch roof installed. Trolley pole at front end removed.
