As an architect, Mr. DeWoody worked with Walter P. Donalson, Jr. As a hobbyist photographer of the interurban, Mr. DeWoody and Donalson shared an interest in the interurban. Prior to his death, he gave his photo collection to Mr. Donalson. Included with the photos were lists describing location and car information. Lists were dated as follows: Nov 25, 1948 and Jan 1, 1949 [Monroe Shops], Dec 19, 1948 [Denison Division] and Jan 9, 1949 [Waco Division]. See J. Myers Loose Papers Finding Aid for more details. Mr. DeWoody is buried at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, TX. |
