One of America's foremost trolley historians and enthusiasts, he was also a noted authority on the electrified interurban railroads, contributing many articles and photographs to books and magazines on those subjects, helping to preserve the history of that period. Much of his work is preserved at the East Troy Electric Railroad Museum in East Troy, Wis. |

Texas Electric Railway Company Passenger Motor 310 [Train 221] stopped at Ash Siding, south of Waxahachie. This Bluebonnet car was southbound to Waco and waiting on northbound Train 222 to pass.
