  5. Corsicana Line near Alma - 1928

    Trains pass houses that line the tracks near Alma, Texas. On the left track is a single Express (baggage/box) Motor car; on the right track is a line of Texas and New Orleans (T&NO) box cars. Texas and New Orleans Railroad was a subsidiary of Southern Pacific Railroad Company. A different view of this same scene is catalogued as photo CP.2007.CL.1-126. See: Map 5, Detail 47

  6. Crimson Limited Coach - ca 1930

    The Crimson Limited coach had a distinctive awning at the rear roof line. Here it is seen leaving Dallas for Fort Worth. There were five Crimson Limited coaches that traveled between Dallas and Fort Worth. Luxury service to other destinations was provided by the Pioneer Local cars, which were painted maroon.

    Texas Electric Railway Passenger Motor 303 on the east side of the Monroe Shops Carbarn after a slight accident. The original car 303 was rebuilt and renumbered to 309.
