    The Crimson Limited coach had a distinctive awning at the rear roof line. Here it is seen leaving Dallas for Fort Worth. There were five Crimson Limited coaches that traveled between Dallas and Fort Worth. Luxury service to other destinations was provided by the Pioneer Local cars, which were painted maroon.

  4. NTT Interurban Motor Coach 26 - ca 1912-1930

    Northern Texas Traction Interurban Passenger Motor Coach 26 was built after 1910. Cars 25-28 were the first cars ordered with arch roofs. Car 26 was upgraded to "Crimson Limited" in 1925. At some unknown date the Baldwin 73-20 trucks were replaced by Brill 27MC83 Trucks. Reference: "Texas Electric Railway", by Johnnie J.   5. NTT Interurban Motor Coach 30 - ca 1924

    Northern Texas Traction Interurban Passenger Motor Coach 30 in Fort Worth, 1924 Cars 29-32 were upgraded to Crimson Limited in 1925. They became Texas Electric 368-371 in 1935. They seemed outmoded in 1921. They were made of wood instead of the all steel single and double truck cars. Reference: "Texas Electric Railway", by Johnnie J.   6. NTT Passenger Motor 31 at Dallas Interurban Terminal - 1935

    Northern Texas Traction Company Passenger Motor 31 sitting at the Dallas Station after it was acquired from the city of Fort Worth by Texas Electric Railway Company. Note the 'flash' logo. The trucks were Brill 27 MCB-2. This car was upgraded to "Crimson Limited" in 1925. It became Texas Electric Railway Company Passenger Motor 370 in 1935. See: Map 8, Detail C

    Texas Electric Railway Company Passenger Motor 31 at the Dallas Interurban Terminal, shortly after abandonment of the Dallas-Fort Worth line of the Northern Texas Traction (NTT) Company.
