TER 'Extra' Passenger Motor 328 Descending Waxahachie Viaduct - 1948, July 3
SNAPSHOT: Northbound Texas Electric Railway Passenger Motor 328 descends the viaduct into downtown Waxahachie. Also known as the Waxahachie Creek trestle, this structure was built in 1913 by Southern Traction Company and continued in use under Texas Electric Railway after the merger of January 1917. The trestle design was pony plate girder and it's total length was 1,454 ft. It is no longer in existence. See: Map 4, Detail 38
