In this rural scene, a salesman stands between tracks to flag down Passenger Motor 368 heading to Dallas. The man wears a dark colored suit and light colored hat and is standing not far from what appears to be a wood frame dwelling. Passenger Motor 368 car body is seen here at 8th and Corinth Streets in Dallas, 1951. After December 31, 1948, the last day of passenger service, Texas Electric Railway began the process of disposing of their assets. Cars were sold for $1,000.00 and moved to the buyer's desired location. A newspaper ad: "Car bodies for sale" probably ran in the Dallas Times Herald. See: Map 8
