   The interior behind the west exterior facing of the prior Plano substation reflected the same deterioration at this time. The building had been used for multiple business enterprises since it was closed after abandonment of the interurban at the end of 1948. One of the multiple business enterprises housed in the building was a lawn mower repair shop. This is indicated by the white 'SNAPPER Power Mowers' sign nailed across the window to the right in the photo.
