Texas Traction Company, Sherman-Dallas Interurban, McKinney Station [1908-1917]. Apparently a shot taken from a post card this print appears dark and some detail is lost. McKinney's first interurban station lay just north of West Louisiana Street, and west of Kentucky Street at the Courthouse Square. The interurban line ran along what is now Kentucky Street. A second station was later built north of the courthouse on what is now the corner of E. Virginia and Kentucky Streets. See: Map 2, Detail 15, McKinney Station Detail |
