1967 E. H. Harriman award presented to Cotton Belt employees in the form of a key chain. This key chain was presented to Harold Rex Hardison. The award is inside a plastic case with snap latch and includes the following: * Gold paper note of appreciation with handwritten name of Cotton Belt Employee, in this case, 'H R Hardison'. The note includes a black and gold Cotton Belt Route symbol in the middle top half of the card. The note below it reads: 'With appreciation for your cooperation in our winning the the E. H. HARRIMAN Gold Award for the year 1967. It's signed by H. J. McKenzie, President. * Metal chain with attached medallion; no key ring. One side of the medallion has raised lettering that reads 'E. H. Harriman Gold Award - Cotton Belt Route'; the other side has raised lettering that reads 'First in Safety 1967, Ratio 3.23'. America's railroads honored the industry's safety achievements and celebrated railroads with the best employee safety records at an annual E. H. Harriman Awards. |
