Texas Traction Company Interurban Motor 9, outbound for Dallas from Denison. Motorman Clyde Hill (right) and an unidentified conductor stand next to the car. Texas Traction Motor 9 at KATY Crossing - ca 1908-1910
Texas Traction Company Interurban Motor 9 is stopped on the bridge at the MK&T [Katy] crossing, just north of Mockingbird Lane on the Sherman-Denison Line. The motorman and conductor are standing in the front entrance posed for the photograph. The motorman is believed to be Conductor Clarence Bell Taylor. The roof of the Rosedale Dairy building appears in the background. This is now a DART Blue Line to Garland. See: Map 3; Map 8
