   Sherman local city car prior to the take over of Denison and Sherman Railway by Texas Traction Company in 1909. The car is dark red in color with a tan roof and built by the American Car Company of Saint Louis. Here it is numbered 8; later the number became 71. Photo taken on Travis Street in Sherman.
