   Texas Electric Railway Company Class "A" Locomotive 801 at the Dallas Freight & Express Terminal on Jefferson Street. Note the Jefferson Hotel in background. Built in 1928, in the Company shops, and designated 'Class A', this and its sisters 800 and 802 were 600/1200 VDC machines rated at 400 ton hauling capacity.    Texas Electric Railway Company Class "A" Locomotive 801 in the Monroe Shops Yard, by the Carbarn. Built in 1928, in the Company shops, and designated 'Class A', this and its sisters 800 and 802 were 600/1200 VDC machines rated at 400 ton hauling capacity.
