TER Passenger Motor 317 and MKT Baldwin Switcher - 1948, August 14
Texas Electric Railway Passenger Motor 317 travels under a catenary and over a Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad (MKT) Baldwin switcher 1009 as it passes under what is likely the Trinity River Viaduct. The two cars co-existed for a very short timeframe. The MKT Baldwin was new in February of 1947 and TER 317 was soon to be put out of service when Texas Electric Railway was abandoned. See: Map 3, 8
