    The last Texas Electric Railway Company car, Passenger Motor 316, to leave Waco for Dallas on December 31, 1948. The train actually left the station at 9 pm. Among those posing for the photo are C. T. Dickinson and Mrs. Myrtle Mathis, wife of Motorman Sam Mathis. Note the train number (# 238) on the front of the car, which can be verified by the train schedule for that date. See: Map 7, Detail 71

  14. TER Passenger Motor 328 - 1927

    Texas Electric Railway Passenger Motor 328 at the Waco Terminal TER cars 325-328 were bought new from St. Louis Car Company in 1920. They were all steel passenger cars equpped to fun on either 600 or 1200 volts and would be mainly on the Waco division. In 1932, there was a major blind side alteration to the car for one-man service. The front side window was revised for better visibility for the motorman, whose position moved to the left. ...
