Former TER Locomotive 801
Texas Electric Class "A" Locomotive 801 was sold to Charles City Western Railway in Jan 1949 for $8000. There, it was renumbered as 303. In 1963, it moved from Charles City Western to the Iowa Terminal Railway and renumbered 53.

Texas Electric Railway Company Class A Locomotive 801 at the Dallas Freight Terminal at Jefferson and Young Streets Built in 1928, in the Company shops, and designated 'Class A', this and its sisters 800 and 802 were 600/1200 VDC machines rated at 400 ton hauling capacity.
