Texas Electric Railway Company Class "A" Work Motor 802 at the Dallas Freight Terminal; head-on view. Built in 1929 as 850, in the Company shops, and designated 'Class A', this and its sisters 800 and 801 were 600/1200 VDC machines rated at 400 ton hauling capacity. 850, originally 600 volt only was converted to 600/1200 volt and renumbered 802 in 1938. "Serving the Heart of Texas" TER Express Motor 508 - ca 1928
Billboard advertising was applied to two express motors for a short time in 1928; 501 and 508. Here is 508 beside the Electric Express Company warehouse at the Dallas freight terminal. The box motor had a blue body with red lettering. This paint scheme applied only to these two express motors and only in 1928 and 1929.
