SNAPSHOT: One of four interurban cars is in construction at the St. Louis Car Co., in St. Louis, MO for the Texas Electric Railway, Dallas, TX. The car was 56 ft. in length and 13 ft. 3 in. in height. It was painted Pullman Green and had a brown canvas roof. This car was constructed against order #1223, which included cars 325, 326, 327 and 328.

Interior view, looking toward the Motorman's seat, of Texas Traction Interurban Motor 53, manufactured by St. Louis Car Company, Saint Louis, MO. In 1913, this car was renumbered and became Express Motor 553. In 1918, it became Express Trail Car 602.
