A paradise lost: the story of Woodlake - Collins, Michael
This is the story of Woodlake Park, a resort lake and recreational park that opened in 1901. It was created by J. P. Crearer, the founder of The Denison and Sherman Railway Company, which provided service to the resort.

Denison and Sherman Railway train of three cars at Woodlake, possibly for the 4th of July based upon the signage on the front of the first car. The first railway car is numbered 24; other car numbers are not visible. The cars are crowded with passengers. The Operator and Conductor stand at the door of the first car.
